I'm running win98se

My sister convinced a friend of her husbands to give me a hand. He's been tinkering with laptops for about 6yrs.

We discovered that I was missing tons of DLL and VXD files. After painstakinly installing one file at a time, cause the FD is the only thing running, we managed to install all of the files.

I've found all the hardware drivers for all the components installed on the laptop.

Now the problem is the IRQ Holder for PCI Steering is giving me a code 13 and code 12 for most of the components installed.

At this time this is where I'm stuck.

errr, OK, simple plan of copying the files from disk to disk in one go.. out of the window lol.

If your copying the files one by one via floppy, then your only half way there. You'll need to do the same for those drivers too by removing and then refreshing the list should bring up a "Found New Hardware" dialogue, it should ask you for each file and hope that none of these files are any bigger than 1.44mb.
