I have a dell dimension E510 with Media center; it has a dvd top drawer and a dvd rw bottom drawer. I wanted to copy a dvd video that i had made (using ROXIO) disk copier and it kept asking to put a blank disk in to be coppied to, when i put it in it would just open and same message comes up.Then i tried to read a dvd in that drawer and it wouldn't read "but" it will read a data cd What to do?

Can you tell us the make and models of the drives..I'm suspecting media incompatability.

this came installed in my dell that is only a year old and worked before. I went to my system information and it tells me that drawer E is a HL-DT-ST DVD+RW GWA4164B

Oh i also should mention that the dvd that it won't read was written in that drawer

could someone help me!!! now my problem is getting worse, my top drawer that is a dvd read drawer is acting up now,, i tried to down load a cd of jpeg pictures and half way thru i got a blue screen HELP
