Hi there ! I am having trouble finding why some sites say i can not play games because of my dvd ? Is there any way i can post the details on here of my pc ? So someone can advise ? Will this have anything to do with copyright ? Many Thanks .

My Dvd i think is a philips spd2412t ata device if this helps ?

Personally i think the site just doesn't recognize that DVD drive brand.As long as any other Cd/Dvd plays in it

fine then the game should play.I haven't seen many Phillips DVD drives.And posting the specifications of your

computer like processor and memory isn't going to break any copyright.

Sorry i did not explain myself well , i mean to say that alot of the times the reason it says that i can not play these games is that there is a program in the game to stop piracy and my dvd is not compatable with this ! It does it for Tiberium Wars but as far as i can see it works fine so do not know how it comes to this conclusion ?
