Default HDD + CD/DVD Drive = no CD/DVD Drive?

I just plugged in my HDD and my DVD drive with my OS in the DVD drive. Now, I can only boot up my OS when my HDD is unplugged. I believe that it is the HDD because it will load when my other HDD is plugged in, too.

Are these internal drives? If they are, how are they connected - i.e., are they on the same ribbon cable or different ribbon cables? And are teh jumpers correctly set as master/slave?

IDE - same ribbon cable

I'll go check the jumpers.

Yeah, the jumpers on my HDD were in the wrong places. Thanks for reminding me to check!
