Hi there,

i recently wanted to create a duel boot system on my laptop so i could install linux, i installed software called bootitng and that seems to be working fine. i then resized my c drive to create a new partition and the windows xp os got a bit buggered up cos of this. but i was ready for this and used my recovery disk to reinstall windows. that worked fine but the main problem is i can't find my cd_rom anywhere. the bios recognises it and i can boot from it but windows refuses to see it. can't locate in my computer, the device manager or in the system directory. haven't been able to locate it in the system registry either. i have to driver for it but nothing to drive!

any help please???
