Default Cd/dvd Drive Help Plz
I recently bought some DVDs so i can watch it on my computer. But It doesn't read the disc...It just makes a LOT of sounds and it doesn't read anything. I have a Compaq Presario SR1820NX and i need help plz. (if ur wondering I don't own a Tv No more....I got a 21'' monitor and that's good enough for me.)

Hi Pwnstar and welcome to PCHF,

Is there a chance that your optical needs cleaned on your player, sounds like it is trying to read it, but the lens may be dirty.

I clean mine periodically to keep it from doing the same thing.
