I have a NEC DVD-RW drive which has worked perfectly until today. I inserted a disk (World of Warcraft: Burning Crusade installer) which I have used today already without any problem, but now when I put the disk in, I can hear the drive spinning the disk, the light on the drive comes on, the mouse cursor shows the disk icon, and then nothing happens. The drive just says "DVD RW Drive (D: )"

I have tried putting the disk in another computer, and it works fine. I have put data DVDs and blank DVDs in my DVD drive and they are recognised and shown perfectly, no problems. However, it seems that program installer disks will not work (I have tried a few different ones, and they all give the same effect as Burning Crusade.) I have uninstalled my disk drive in device manager and reinstalled it, but that didn't help. Do you have any advice?

Is the disk seen in my computer, if so right click the icon and click autoplay.

Does it recognise any disk that is in the drive when the system is booted up, but then will not recognise a new disk when swapped. this is what my PC does. Any help with this?
