Most times to remove the keyboard there is a plastic strip above or below the keyboard that needs to be removed to expose the screws to remove the keyboard it's would make it easy if we could get a part breakdown of it but I can't find one. Also there maybe a screw you need to remove under the laptop when you get it un done be carfull there is a plastic ribbon cable under it that will need to be uncliped from the mainboard.

Just afraid of breaking something. Would it help to post a link to a picture of the keyboard and it's vicinity, and one of the screw positions on the bottom? I'm sure it's common sense if you have done this thing before, but I only half-know what I'm looking for. Thanks for the reply.

Actually, thanks to some fiddling and that guide you found, I was able to get it open. Couldn't get the drive out, it was buried too deep, but apparently taking the cover off was enough. The drive works now.
