No big. I was just wondering if anybody had any ideas on what was causing this or how to fix it. Just because someone didn't answer my forum doesn't mean I won't recommend people here. I love this site no matter what happens. It's my favorite. Thanks.

jmarket -

I have the same problem with my pioneer DVR-111D. Except my computer will shut down when it trys to read DVDs. It reads CDs fine.
What did you come up with for a fix? I have a LG GSA-H10N DVD writer as well and it does the same thing. The chances that both DVD lasers don't work is pretty slim so I doubt it's that.
I've seen a lot of this stuff lately on the internet. I'm thinking there's a problem in SP2 with using drivers for DVD writers...
