That's a good start. Have you tried setting your IDE channels to PIO Only??? Try going to Microsoft's Download Page and see if they have any updates for your drivers. They may or may not have some but it's worth a try. Also, is your dvd-rw drive set as primary or secondary? You might have the connections switched around...
