Please can someone help!!! About 2 days ago whilst trying to reinstall a program that I had uninstalled (Photoimpact 10) my CD/DVD/RW drive stopped working. Its the only disc drive I have in my laptop and now it has vanished from my computer. I have looked on device manager and it is listed (Phillips DVD + RW SDVD8441) but has a yellow triangle with an exclamation mark on it. I have tried to troubleshoot it and update the device driver but I get a message saying "Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing (Code 39). I'm using Windows XP.

Is there any way I can get it back?!! I desperately need to be able to reinstall my photo program because I sell photographs on Ebay and without it I'm pretty stuffed!
