Hi,

I have to replace the DVD rom tray in my laptop as the circuitry tape has 2 tears in it so it won't work.
Can I put in a DVD burner, if so, what else will I need?

Just a DVD burner that fits the laptop drive slot.
Should not need anything special.
If not, you could get an external, cheaper but not as convenient for watching DVDs on the go.
