Default My CD-ROM is not reading anything!! T_T

Hey im having some problems with my cd-rom... its not reading cds.. the cover opens normally, i insert the cd.. when i insert it the led flashes twice, then it stops completely... any idea how to solve this?? Ive tried different cds... some blanks, some with programs, some with images, some with music... and its not reading anything... as if the cds were all blanks... in fact, with the cds inside the drive, i got to the cdrom in my pc, double click and it enters normally, just as if the cd was a blank...

The problem started recently... i had to change my case, because i had a small accident with my old one and i kind of broke it :P so maybe while putting everything into the new case i forgot to plug something maybe... ive checked everything many many times and it all seems right... the drive doesnt have any instalation cd... to install it all i do is connect the IDE cable in the Mother Board... then the power source into the drive.. then is this thin withe cable i know its plugged to the mother board too, but one of the ends has a with plug that i dont know what its for.. i dont remember it beeing plug in the old case thou

well thats my problem... theres some background info for ya... if anyone cares to help this poor soul in despair... the lord will grant you with eternal happyness

You probally have knocked the laser lens out of alignment. It is not worth repairing it, as the cost of a replacement will be a lot cheaper...
