Default DVD Rom won't read Splinter Cell Double agent
Hey there!

I bought Double Agent today and my DVD Rom will not read it while it will read any other game fine. I have updated my firmware and tried again, to no avail. I have also tried the game on my dads pc and it worked for him. Please help me i've been waiting for Double Agent for months!
By the way my drive is a JLMS XJ-HD165H and the games DVD is a dual layer one.

Just a quick update. It was working but now it's not reading it again. I think my DVD Rom could be failing

Hi CowBurn...

Can you try your dad's DVD drive in yours?

Or perhaps swap the IDE cable around to see if that helps at all.

Does it stop reading other DVDs?

Hello Garhar. My dad rang up the local computer shop and asked for there advice. They said they'll give me a good dvd drive, for £20 so I got it pretty cheap. It's also a lot better then my previous one and now Double Agent works fine!
