Hi LipstixX

Welcome to the PCHF!

What you need to do, is go into your BIOS and set the Boot priority to 1)Removeable Media 2)CD-ROM 3)Hard Drive 4)Disalbed

This should set it to boot off your usb cd first.

Thanks for replying so soon
Well i did what you said and its not working. Mind you in the bios when i do set those boot priorities.. i have the option of changing Removable media to Disabled, legacy floppy, LS120, ZIP, Atapi MO, USB FDD OR USB ZIP. So im not sure which one to have it on. Also whats my primary master, primary slave, secondary master and secondary slave suppose to be on. Mine is on Hard drive, auto, cd rom and Auto for the last one.. I feel like a real newbie but any help would be appreciated
ciao

Hi LipstixX

You're welcome...gotta look after us aussies in this naked world of......yea.....i got nothing

Your Primary/Secondary Master/Slave settings are fine...there's nothing you need to change there.

Legacy floppy is the same as it's always been, the 3 1/4" disk, LS120 is the same size, but could hold 120mb of data, zip was 100mb - 250mb of data (disks slightly bigger), atapi mo...not sure what this one is to be honest...usb fdd and zip is exactly what say.

Sorry, but you said you *did* set the boot priorities? and is it set to Removeable Media first? or was there no option for that?

lol, nah i just wanted to make sure that i was getting the right message

Would you be able to take a photo of the screen where the boot options are? I believe this computer is a bit older and my memory on the older BIOS setup is not where it once was
