Default [Answered] Which Dvd Burner Should I Get And Please Unconfuse Me!!!

hello, recently i was planning ong etting a dvd burner and i found a couple i like...i just need to ask you guys if its a good deal and if its a good item to buy: (im paying canadian dollars btw)

Sony External dual layer 16X DVD+-R/RW drive $70 US about $80 CAD
NEC External dual layer 16X DVD+-R/RW drive $75 US about $86 CAD
NEC internal dual layer 16X DVD+-R/RW drive $60 CAD (if its available at store so its a maybe)

Ok those are my choices and I am looking more towards the sony one becuase...well its sony, however I heard from some friends that sony dvd burners have a security thing and dont burn some movies...i called a store and the guy there said if i use dvd shrink or something i can burn dvds but any dvd drive will "stop" burning dvds if you use it A LOT after a year or so.

I wana see if any of these facts are true and which burner do you recommend for me...i will be burning alot of shows and movies which i downloaded and occasinaly copying from copied or original films.
also dont just pick the cheapest and tell me thats the best deal becuase i know externals are more expensive and if i can get them for that price they are a great buy. so help me out please
thanks.

I think your question is answered, you have posted a question about a new dvd player 1 day ago.... so I presume you bought one

Can a moderator please mark this thread answered?
