Angry E:\ is not accessible. incorrect function?

Hi. having trouble with my "tsstcorp cd dvdw ts-h552d". recently i have been burning DVD files to blank DVD+R disks. this has worked great. i went away for 2 days and came back to find that when i tried to burn VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS files onto a disk through imgburn (the program i always use) it has a problem.

i went into my computer and (without the disk in) my drive was titled: "DVD-RW Drive (E:\)".

i then put a blank DVD-R (also used DVD+RW) into the drive and the name changed to:

"CD Drive (E:\)"

Upon clicking on "CD Drive (E:\)" i had an error message

"E:\ is not accessible. incorrect function"

I can read DVD's that i have burnt Fine.

In Device manager > DVD/CD-ROM Drives > tsstcorp cd dvdw ts-h552d. i went to properties And under Drive type it says "DVD/CD-ROM drives"

From my knowledge ROM is read only memory meaning i cant burn on this drive. but i have done it before !

please help !!!

Tom

I ask not what type of disks you use but what is the media you are burning to them and where has it been obtained?
