Dont think im following sorry.....
Is the disk your putting in a dvd disk? it is properly changing to cd driver as your disk is a cd?

The disc I'm putting in is a dvd and it's changing to cd drive once It loads. It's not suppose to do that becuz its a dvd-rw drive.

Have you tried just burning the DVD anyways, something very similar to that happened on my old computer, but it could still burn data on to the DVD.

Its not a windows error msg. Its a generic one like: incorrect function. I'm trying to download a file throu utorrent and its not allowing me to burn it to disk. Its saying torrent error incorrect function. Maybe that will help to, me telling you what I'm trying to do.
