CD & DVD Burning - help with dvd burning posted in the Hardware forums; hi guys..having trouble DVD burning.. bought myself a dvd re wrtiter from argos £39 installed it ..then i tried to copy a file i downloaded, did it all but right ...

Default help with dvd burning

hi guys..having trouble DVD burning.. bought myself a dvd re wrtiter from argos £39 installed it ..then i tried to copy a file i downloaded, did it all but right at the end when it says burn ..i clicked burn then a message poped up... not enough memory in temp file only 745mb and need 1454mb wat dose this mean??? cheers everyone thanx

Welcome 2hard2handle,

Could you also check your FREE disk space? The easiest way would be to open My Computer -> and check the TOTAL and FREE disk space on your C drive.

Nero needs to cache the files it burns, it does not burn from the original folder. It copies them to a temporary cache folder then burns the file.

If your harddrive is full Nero will not be able to cache the file.

Do a disk cleanup by getting rid of unnecessary files using CCleaner...

cheers mate..that helped..btw it took 6hrs to burn a 45min boxing match is this normal?? cheers
