When you say your DVD burner can't read any DVD's - do you mean DVD videos or all DVD's including DVD games.

If it's just DVD videos - please download the following codec pack and install. Then try to play your DVD's. This codec pack also comes with Media Player Classic which should be able to play your DVD's if Windows Media can't. Please post back if this doesn't help or if it's all DVD's that aren't recognised.
