DVD burning question
is there a such thing as a DVD player that cant read burned DVDs? i doubt it lol.
But heres the thing i converted an avi file to DVD format (which worked fine. I opened the new DVD file and the folder contains two folders Audio_TS and Video_TS (the normal folders you see when you put a dvd in a pc and right click to explore it) the audio TS folder is empty (i put in an original dvd and noticed the audio ts folder in the original dvd was empty as well so i guess thats normal), the video_ts folder had the usual IFO and VOB dvd files.. to i burned the audio ts and video TS FOLDERS onto a blank dvd and put i in my dvd player and it wouldnt recognize or do anything with it. So I tried it on my playstation 2 as well (ive bought bootleg copied dvds of teh street one before and they ran fdine on my ps2) in the ps2 it still didnt work.
So how do i get the dvd i burned to work in a traditional should i have instead of burning the folders, just opened the video ts folder and burned all the files that were inside the folder onto the dvd (instead of burning th folder with the files in it burn the files inside the folder straight to the dvd instead) or what?
