Default Movies coming out full screen

I am using Cyberlink Powerproducer 3. Everything works fine, but when I watch a movie I have burned on my dvd player, the picture is stretched to full screen instead of widescreen. The files play widescreen on my pc, and I have the widescreen option checked in the burning software. Any ideas how I can fix this?
