Ok i have a Dell Demension E520 SATA system, I want to get a External Dvd Burner thats compatable with SATA systems as well as Windows VISTA. So does the external DVD burners that connect by USB work with SATA drives and Vista ? or are there only certain types that are compatable ?

Ehmm....as far is I know you don't have to worry about SATA when you have an external HDD.
Usually there is somewhere in the description at the (online) store told if it is compatible with Vista, otherwise ask the store!
