Heya McMightyMouse Welcome to PCHF

A good place to look for free software is Free Software Downloads and Software Reviews - Download.com. If you go to advanced search, you can filter by only free licenses. Just put "DVD burning" in description and switch the license drop down to "free."

Then with your search results you can filter by CNET reviews or user reviews and pick the top rated ones.

You can leave the power2go software on your computer, it won't hurt anything by having more than one burning software. You can basically just try a bunch of free software on download.com. If you don't like it, then just uninstall it

Hope that helps!
