I have a dvd iso but whenever i go to burn it at my usual 4x it says the normal 14mins, however it never does finish in that 14 minutes. The litte buffer level bar at the bottom which i think is the device buffer keeps fluctuating every so often to like 20% 90% 30% etc. Any ideas on how i can get it back to normal instead of coaster maker...

If you provide the make/model of your DVD-RW device and the software you are using to write to the DVD, someone will probably be able to help you.

Also, what specific version of Windows are you using.

Maybe there is a problem with the iso itself?
Dunno for sure but I thought I heard something about that problem some time ago (not on PCHF btw)...
Try mounting your .iso in a virtual drive...see if it works...

Burnt the iso on my comp worked fine but the other comp still wont burn it. I used nero info tool and it says the dvd drive is a ATAPI DVD DD 2X16X4X16 Windows xp Pro, also using nero to burn.
