Default Same problem

Hey there, just joined. I've been having the exact same problem with my computer (Dell Inspiron 6000). I use the Sonic program as well, along with Windows Media player to burn cd's. My computer makes a sort of a beeping sound showing its attempting to read a blank disc. Every now n then it'll pick up one but more so not than it does. Again same problem when starting up with the flashing white bar. Let me know if you figure something out, n I'll do likewise. Thanks

Hey Guys,

@Sumrachet, please use regular English when posting, web speak can cause miscommunications, and is much harder to read. Also, please post your questions in your own thread, that makes it less confusing when answering questions. If you feel that you have similar or identical symptoms as someone else's thread, you can reference it in your post by copying and pasting the URL. Thanks,

As far as your CDs are concerned, let's get back to your specific situation. From what you have said your player will play professionally copied CDs but nothing that you burn. What specifically have you tried to burn, music, videos, etc.? What program are you using? Have you recently changed CD manufacterers? What medium are you trying to burn from, camera, downloaded music etc.

It is possible that you are running into copywrite protection, but I will need to know more about what is happening before we can start troubleshooting.

One more thought, have you tried using one of the cleaners available? They clean the inside of the player, which can develop dust etc. over time.

Looking forward to your reply,

TTFN

LGW
