CD & DVD Burning - [Answered] Cd/Rw not working posted in the Hardware forums; No it doesn't burn anything, it doesn't even play a CD when i put a CD in the green light starts flashing rapidly and nothing else happens....

well, unfortunately, there's not a lot that can be done for cd drives, shy of buying a new one. You can purchase a lens cleaner for about 10 bucks, and see if that helps, but I don't think that's the issue here. I'm also not certain that the drive is dead, but half of the sites I get when I google the error codes are blocked here at work.....maybe I should be working.

regardless, let me check into it from home this weekend and I'll post back....
