Default Problems with Pioneer DVR-104

Helllo,

I'm new to this forum and I'm not much on computers from the inside. I have had this burner for about 4-5 years and it has worked with no problems, recently it will get about 1-5% done burning a disk and have an error message come up. I'm thinking it might be time to buy a new DVD burner but I thought I would check before. I'm using Sony 8x dvd-r. I will include the error log to see if that helps.

Thanks

Hi brian, welcome to the PC Help Forum.

It does sound like your burner is on deaths door.
However, before you go out and buy a new one...try removing the IDE cable from the combo drive you have, and plug it into the sony burner...and try again...also unplug the power from the combo drive.
