Sorry superman, i can't believe i never thought of this one earlier...

Start -> Run -> devmgmt.msc -> IDE ATA/ATAPI controllers -> Double click on Primary IDE Channel -> Advanced Settings -> Make sure both Transfer Mode are set to DMA if available

Do the same for Secondary IDE Channel

If you had to change them from PIO Only...give the computer a restart and you should see the issue resolved.
