Default Data disc problem.

Ok, normally to make data discs I used playo dvd-r discs and I've never had a problem. But I just got some fujifilm dvd-r discs and they burn without a problem but when I put them back in the computer nothing happens. The message pops up saying what to do when I insert the disc and I press open folder to view files but it's empty

I tried it 3 times and it was a waste of 3 discs. I did a sysspec scan and it says I should be able to read and write this type of disc. Can anyone help me out? Hopefully to get these discs to work so I don't have to use them as coasters.

Ive used some brands before that didnt like to write at their fastest speed, reducing the write speed cut down on the coaster collection considerably. Wont cost much to try it.

I burned them at 4x and 2x. Says burn completed succesfully but they just don't seem to read on the computer.

Hi dr0x, have you tried different burning software? i know some software can be a bit picky on the quality of blank cds.

Yeah, at first I used nero but then I switched to Ashampoo burn ya data disc program. Never heard of it but since it was especially made for data discs I figured it was worth a try. Same problem happened with both of them.
