hello, why can't I copy any of my files ( photos, music etc) to cd. When I select copy to cd I get a little drop down box in top left hand crner which lists, COPY HERE, move here, create shortcuts here and cancel. It doesn't do anything and when I open the cd (D) drive where my files should be in temporary folders waiting to burn it is empty, so therefore don't get copying wizard up. I keep getting message saying requested resource is in use, WHY?????
I have no problems burning music from windows media, just can't copy my files. Can anyone advise it's driving me mad.

What Software Are You Using??? I Use Nero 7...it Works Fine...u Should Try Downloading The Demo Its Really Easy To Use....make Sure U Are Choosing To Burn A Data Cd If Its Not Music Your Burning.....go To Downloads.com And Download The Demo....

I recommend you to use any software to burn your CDs such as NERO or Express Burn ..... etc

Unfortunatly you won't be able to just "copy" or "move" files to CD, as most CD drives are just "readers" until the software to burn them has been installed, and then you need the specific type of CD drive to do it, and a blank CD.

Nero is good software, as both Sniper210010 and Mr On Line have said, but there are alternatives.
Such as Roxio Easy CD Creator

Before you try to download software, can you tell me what kind of CD drive you have please?
