Can i burn a ps2 game using cdrwin and fireburner, because when i go to select the game its says "not ready" or "empty" or somthing like that. all i have in my comp is a cd-rw can it be done? any suggestions?

i have a game thats scratched and stops running from time to time and want to replace it w/o buying a new one. and want to get back at those used game stores that sell faulty material

You need a specially made software for that. Cause windows doesn't recognize CD/DVD made for PS2. http://game-copy-software-review.toptenreviews.com/

You should check out the Game Doctor or the Skip Doctor. It's a plastic disk resurfacer that can work wonders on many scratches. Keep in mind that it does have it's limits and label scratches can't be repaired so don't bother. Anyway, even if you wanted to make a copy you're going to want that sice a scratched original isn't going to yield very good results more often than not.

i will look into game clonining software and this cd is not scratched to bad but sometimes it just makes funny colors and invisible spots on the screen

Sounds more like youre ps2 is overheating. Changing discs wont help with that im afraid.
