Default I can hear static on play back from audo cd's

hello, im back again with yet another problem!
This the time problem is the audio cd's i burn, I use iTunes to burn them from mp3s but when i listen to it i get (it differs on hi-fi's and computer) quite bad static sounds to point were you can hear a thing.

I use to use Jukebox to burn audio cds and they were usualy fine. Is there anyway around this? Lens cleaner? I havent copied any cds as my other drive is either broken or just needs a good old lens cleaning so i dont know if i get the same problem with copied cd's.

Thanks alot again

Well you could at least try to burn a music CD with other software, to see whether it's a hardware or software problem. Windows Media Player has a built-in burner so could you try to create a CD that way?
