im having problems with the copy's of dvds i have done, all on the same kind of disc (dvd-r) some play in colour then others dont they play in black and white, does anybody have an idea why? or could it be my dvd player being picky

Could you give us a bit more info:
  1. What type of DVD's are you trying to burn?
  2. Are you using the same type DVD-RW discs?

Are these dvd's commercially recorded films like say Titanic or home produced stuff?
