Default [Resolved] problem saving files to CD-RW

I want to start saving my files to a CD-RW as my new computer is not going to have a floppy drive. When I go to my documents to save a file that I created, I get an error message "you do not have permission to open this file..see the owner" and I am the owner!! I have also tried to backup my files in Quicken and I get an error message "unable to access the drive" although I have not problems burning music or photo CDs. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Hi there golfingal & welcome to PCHF

Whilst my response will not solve your issue with the CDRW, have you considered getting one of these: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applicati...?EdpNo=1338750 - they are fantastic!! No more "burning" files etc - it acts just like another hard drive
