Hey geeks! Lol, ok well it isnt me the one with the problem, its my friend, hes been trying to burn a dvd movie into a dvd, hes been using Nero. In the program, it all acts like if it was really burning the movie, but after its done, the dvd its really empty. Thats all I know, he hasnt told me anything else, if you need to know something else, tell me and Ill ask him. By the way, his computer is a HP and it runs with Windows XP. Thats as far as I know! Do you know how long he has been having these problems for?

Also ask him if it comes up with any errors, normally this can happen when burning a DVD/CD and the progress bar gets to 100% and then has an error.

If that is the case then he must make sure that his DVD burner is set to master and any other CD-ROM is set to slave. Would also be worth running the DVD burner on its own IDE cable.

Ok, well he told me he didnt get any error messages, and Ill tell him to do that, but how can you change that slave and all the other stuff?

Once he has done this, get him to boot into windows and try to burn something. Let us know if it works or not.
