i am having problems burning cds, i am using easy cd creator, Afyer it says its burnt my files to disc it says there was an error reading the disc, im getting nero to see if that helps the problem, but im not sure what is causing it if you help please reply PLEASE!!! :cry:

Sure, use the trial version of Nero to see if the problem is related to the burning software you are using. Let us know what happens.

I think I have had a similiar problem but try your Nero first.
I was using Nero Burner and whenever I created a CD it got to the end - 100% and then it failed.
For some reason the problem is caused by how you have connected the burner to the motherboard i.e whether it is on Master or Slave e.t.c

My recommendation is to connect the Burner to its own IDE cable and set it as a Master. If you have another CD-rom then connect that to the same IDE cable as the hard drive.

thank you v much for your help, i will try nero first, btw how do i change the drive from master to slave and vice verca etc. thanks

You need to look at the back of the drive - there is a place with a load of little pins and a (usually) black "jumper". Most drives have instructions actually printed onto them as to where you need to place the jumper to enable/disable master & slave.
