Don`t know why but it deleted a disc and also the same vid. which was in "my video folder" with some xmas video footage any ideas how to retrieve it (if poss.) and will it be hiding in the system somewhere. Thought it might have been in recycle bin but no such luck. Many thanks in advance, Teash

Could you give me some insight as to how it deleted a folder, e.g. did you try un-install Kazaa or what.
I presume the deleted folder is your My Videos folder inside My Documents. (what OS are you using - Win98 / WinXP)
Also do you remember the name of one of the videos that were in that folder because it might be worth running a search on your hard drive to see whether the directory could have been moved to some "arb" place.

If you can't find anything then it might be worth downloading a File Recovery program

Have you tried running your CD in another computer to see if there is any information on it

All I can say is " that is weird".
I can't see any reason why the disk would have been deleted. Where you using a CD-RW or just a plain CD-R
Also were you in the process of copying the file onto CD or had you already done that previously.

What makes you think Kazaa did this?
