CD & DVD Burning - [Resolved] Nero doesn't recognise my files posted in the Hardware forums; I wanted to make a music CD with some WAV songs. Funny thing was Nero refused to recongnise 24 bit audio WAVs I wanted to burn. Re-ripped back to 16 ...

Default [Resolved] Nero doesn't recognise my files
I wanted to make a music CD with some WAV songs. Funny thing was Nero refused to recongnise 24 bit audio WAVs I wanted to burn. Re-ripped back to 16 bit and it was ok. Any way to get around this? I love 24 bit sound......

Default Nero doesn't recognise my files
Ok, went to the site. I'm lost. I'm using Nero 5.5. Can I just download the plug-in for 6?????? The details says 24bit audio is already avalibale for version 6. Must I buy version 6?

Default Nero doesn't recognise my files
There doesn't seem to be a plugin for what you need...and reading elsewhere I see that other Nero 5.5 users are accepting it as an annoying bug. Apparently tha only advice I see is to make sure that you are in "Audio" and not "Data" mode before burning... :roll:

Looks like an upgrade to Nero 6 might be on the cards huh ?
