Windows file, folder and volume compression

NTFS is a file system supported by Windows NT, 2000, XP, Vista and Windows 7. To see if your file system is running NTFS, right click on your disk, and go to Properties. At the very top, you’ll see “File System”, which will either be FAT32 or NTFS.
Open Windows Explorer to a different default directory

Disk Partition
For many years, Microsoft have provided “Disk Management” with it’s Operating Systems, which allows you to manage partitions. In previous versions of Windows, you would need to delete the existing partition, and create a new partition in the correct size.
