STOPZilla Anti-Spyware is simple to use.  The interface is well designed and straightforward.  The scans can be performed automatically or scheduled by you, but each item you open is automatically scanned.  Updates can be run automatically but it needs to be set up by you first.  In other words if you want to install and forget STOPZilla Anti-Spyware then you need to set it up.  Setting it up is quite easy though due to the simple interface.
