This is real wierd...my mouse red laser is on but my cursor won't move when I move the mouse. The mouse wheel works and so does right and left click.. any ideas?

Try removing the mouse (un-installing) from the device manager list, then reboot with the mouse un-plugged. Log into Windows and plug the mouse back in again.

do you use rechargeable batts in your mouse? I have this problem as well and it usually gets solved by a change of batts. I think they maybe loosing their full potential.

I have tried with another mouse and it is fully working. So its the mouse that has a problem.

If it's the mouse then it will need replacing...repairing a mouse is not cost or time effective.
