Default New Installation

I just swapped my system into a larger case and now it will power on but not output anything to the monitor. Also, holding down the power button will no longer shut it down. Any ideas, suggestions, etc on how to resolve these issues?

Off the top of my head, I would say you reassembled the computer incorrectly.

check your front panel connectors make sure the power on is correct for a start. Did you connect the 4 pin 12 volt to the mobo?

I took the power switch out of the old system after the new one had the same problem. It is in a block (5 pins on the top, 4 pins on the bottom) to make it easier to install. Both times the result was the same.

Try resetting CMOS. To do this unplug the power cord. Remove the motherboard battery for roughly 30 seconds - replace it and reconnect power. You will have to reset the date/time, etc in BIOS.
