Default Standby Issue

Its derek-a-tron again, now i dont know if this problem is case-related, so if any moderators think it should be moved to a more appropriate topic i will be happy. So anyway, i put my pc on standby and the pc is totally quiet, problem is when i press the power button to get it back on, my dvi signaled lcd tv stays on standby, and none of my usb hardware is on. What is happening? I used to be able to click my usb wirless mouse and i would be back to the desktop? eh?

Sounds like they may have hooked up the suspend and power switch the wrong way when fitting the new mainboard. What is the make and model of the mainboard? SO I can get the manual and see how it should be hooked up

I was just reading the manual and it say's there is a setting in the bios that may need to be changed under the power options menu change the APCI Suspend mode try each setting and reboot the PC and see if it works for you with the different setting in the manual it's under section 4.6.1 and 4.6.2

Very strange, now when coming off standby by clicking the mouse a couple of times, the pc restarts, this problem is becoming very annoying

the sound card works now, anyway, i have enable suspend mode 1 (i think), which allows the pc to be put on stand by, but before i got the new motherboard the pc used to go totaly quiet, no fans or anything, and you used to be able to press the power button and it would come off standby-great, when i put it on s1&3, which i think is what i want, i press the power button and all the fans spool up but the monitor doesnt turn on, nothing does so i end up pressing the restart button, strange stuff, please help..
