Default Noisy Fans

Hello all,
My computers fans are really loud, and it's driving me crazy! It's always been about this loud, but i can't handle it anymore.

Here is my case. Newegg.com - APEVIA X-Dreamer ATXB3KLW-BK/420W Black Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case ATX 420W power supply for AMD/Intel Power Supply - Retail
I downloaded SpeedFan, and it can't control the speeds of any of my case fans.
I don't do any major gaming, so i'm not exactly worried about it overheating.

CPU0 is running about 1550 RPM, the rest come up as 0. Everything comes up as being about 110*F (42*C) except for Aux, which shows 257*F (125*C).

Any advice??

Heya Tractor,

Rather than slowing down the fans and increasing the heat inside the case, you are better off just purchasing new fans.

Open the case up and try to find which fans are the ones making all the noise, then just replace them with quieter fans. I have found that power supply fans can be very loud as well. In a worst case scenario, you may even have to replace the entire power supply to get a quieter fan.

Some fans have an external speed control knob, but I haven't seen any that have gotten good reviews. But that would be convenient.

Hope that helps!

The thing is the smaller the fan diameter-- the louder it will be-- I run 120 mm fans there are a lot of little things you can do...
