Well I didn't take them off on purpose the first time, knocked them off by accident lol. But there back on, i see your point. I don't really use my cd drive that often though so doesn't bother me. And all the other drive bays are empty

well duing working load (games, File transferrs etc) my hard drives are working at 24-26, wereas in the crappy ol case i had they were runnning at 29-36. remarkable difference having a fan basically just for the hdd, and the amd 5200 sits at 31celcus idle wereas it was 34-38 in **** case.

im like so stoked with the differences as well, and now im running basically all new hardware the computer feels great, also because i did not install "norton the system user" (imo).

glad you like it..And yes Norton Is and can be a system hog if you dont have allot of RAM

If you got the ANtec 900 get some breathable dust filters.. As when I had mine I had to clean the inside of it at least once a week. It keeps your stuff cool but all sucks in that dust

i vacuum'd the room thoroughly 3 times before actually using the computer, ill do that once a week. so i hope that will help alot..
the first run with the vacuum was funny as, it filled up the dirt housing and clogged the filter, so i cleaned it all and done it again then emptied, then done it again untill only a tiny amount was caught in the dirt catcher.. anyways if i do that once a week i hope it will stop such dirt clogging episodes as you describe..
i have not since building the computer been able to sit down and enjoy it, due to updates, loading programs checking setting etc.. tonight is the night, bought a case of beer, got my brother coming over and we are going to absolutly thrash the bugs out of it..
