Default power supply?
if my pc keeps on restarting in the middle of an installation is it possible that its related with power supply?

Do you see any error messages?
Are all of your fans spinning on the motherboard and expansion cards etc?
Have you installed anything recently that could be causing this? If so, why not try a System Restore...
