Default PC starts when wall socket switched on

Hi, I have just put together a new system with a case that I bought in Poland. It is a standard MATX case with the front panel connecters consisting of a Power switch, HDD LED and Reset switch which I have correctly connected to my GA-K8n51GMF M/board. The case is operated via a touch screen for power etc and so it also includes a +5v power supply cord which is supposed to be connected to a "power supply adapter" in order to power the touch sceen. The problem is that this power cable has a connection for the M/board and not a PSU so I have got it plugged into the PWR-LED socket of the M/board.
When I turn the wall socket switch on the pc starts up instantly instead of me having to press the power button on the case. If I shut the system down I can then not turn it back on from the case, Instead I have to turn it off at the wall and then back on again.
As you can see I am sure that the connection to the M/board is the problem but just don't know how to fix it as the instructions for the case were in terrible english and there does not seem to be another connection of any sort on the M/board or the PSU for the front panel.

If any body can help it will be very much appreciated,
Thanx doughnuts.

Ok Doughnuts it could well be that you have it connected to the wrong socket. I will have a look.

Are you sure the cable is connected to the power switch properly and the leds?

Yeah, I am sure that I have the HDD LED, Power Switch, Reset switch and Speaker connected into the correct positions of the motherboard accordintg to the supplied manual. The Message LED/Power/Sleep LED jumpers are not connected as the case did not have a front panel cable that matched thiis connection and the touch screen power cable plug has sprues on it that will make it impossible to connect it into this socket.

Thanx Dougnuts

Upgrader is right.

The power may be set to automatically come on, normally under power mangement in your BIOS.

Think i found your answer.

In the bios go to power management setup and have a look at the settings there. It could be the AC Back function. I found this in the manual downloadable from here GIGABYTE - Support - Motherboard - Manual Download

Doughnuts, try turning the power switch cable (possibly BLUE+WHITE)...what it used to be ...try plugging it in the opposite way.
