Ok that fan had to go back for various reasons!
1. I didn't like how heavy it was
2. It wasn't as quiet as I thought it would be
3. It was supposed to have blue lights on it! (I have a window case!)
Anyway I finally got and fitted a new fan. Its the coolermaster Xdream III and has pretty much everything I want from a fan. Again it could be quieter but I'm past caring too much about that now. My pc is still rather noisey. There has been slight improvements but nothing major. I don't get it, all the fans in it now are so called silent ones but still it seems to be louder than most pcs. This is frustrating as I have spent a lot of money on this.
Anyway, the temps have improved. Just now it's sat idle at 50C and 52C at load. The new fan's been on just a day so maybe it will improve still.
