I did it! they said it could not be done but i did it :knowing: i put a dell in a aftermarket case without having to buy a new motherboard. it was not much to change at all. the only changes i had was to make new holes for the heatsink bracket screws and take the powerbutton out of the holder and plug it in the new button . for the front usb i used the whole unit just replaced the one with the dell works great. if anyone is interested i will send them pictures.

googd job. Just had to find a case that would accept a micro atx board, did you change the power supply?? Or did you keep the Dell psu? I know dells psu's dont like being changed without burning up a couple pieces on your motherboard.

hey merlin! no i kept the same power supply. i have herd that some people are using after market power supplys with no problems. but mine is working fine, so i will not change it until it die's.
